Rachael is the General Manager, Internal Program Delivery of the Baker IDI Heart and Diabetes Institute. In her support of women in ICT Rachael has been a guest speaker at a WIT event on gender diversity and is currently a mentor in Vic ICT for Women’s mentoring program. She is a board member of Vic ICT and prior to taking a Board position she worked enthusiastically as the Program Director of the successful 2010 Vic ICT for women initiative Go Girl, Go for IT. Rachael is the current Co-Director of Go Girl which is well on track for a successful implementation in June 2012.

Edith Alice (Philipson) Davenport

Edith Davenport (born in the 1920′s) was an art and craft and music teacher. She ran the first pre-school for children with physical disabilities (through VISCCA), which later taught intellectually ‘handicapped’ children at Aekira Centre, Box Hill, Victoria. She was always a loving and loyal wife, mother, family and community member, as well as a talented artist, musician and thinker. I am proud to say she is my mother.

Susan Davies
Susan helped energise opposition to the Kennett government, being elected as a rural Independent MP at the Gippsland West byelection in 1997. She lead the drafting of the Independents’ Charter which helped bring that government down in 1999, and was a stabilising influence during the first term minority Bracks Labor government. Two of her three sons was born at Queen Vic.
